Cracking the Code: Our 100 Square Adventure!
This week, we became 100 square detectives! We didn’t just look at the numbers; we solved a big puzzle. Our challenge was to put a scrambled 100 square back together.
It was like a giant jigsaw puzzle, but with numbers! We had to look at the numbers on each piece and figure out where they belonged. We used our super-powered number skills to spot patterns. We saw that numbers get bigger as you go across and down. For example, after 1 comes 2, and below 1 is 11.
Once we put the puzzle back together, the real fun began! We used our new, complete 100 square to answer some tricky questions. We found numbers by following clues.
• “Start at 10. Go down one row.” We knew we’d land on 20!
• “What number is one step to the right of 45?” We all yelled out 46!
We even helped each other when we got stuck. It was all about working together to find the right answers. We learned that the 100 square is a powerful tool. It helps us count, add, and subtract in a fun way. We’re getting so good at it!
